How to Enable Dark Mode In Google Chrome?





After the Release of Android Lollipop, The Dark themes, and Support of Dark mode on the third-party applications are increased. Mostly all applications now support Dark Mode.

Recently Google released an update for Mac with the Dark Mode. But Dark Mode in Android devices is still a question mark. Now the Google Rolled out an update for Android devices with some experimental features like dark mode.

With the Gooogle Chrome version 74, Android users can use Dark Mode and many experimental features.

Let's See How to Enable It.

First Update Your Google Chrome to Latest Version.

1. Open Chrome Browser

2. Enter Chrome://flags in the address bar



Flags Command is used to toggle experimental features in Google Chrome Android.

3. After the Flags page loaded, Search for the "Android Chrome UI Dark Mode".



4. There you can see only one option named "Android Chrome UI Dark Mode". It will be in "Default" Mode. Change it to "Enable"




5. After that, Google Chrome will prompt you to Restart the Application.



6. Restart it and Head up to Settings then toggle Dark Mode to ON.





(Note: If There is no option for Dark Mode in Settings, Just Force Stop the Application and Open it again. The Problem will be solved)




Hoorayy!! You Enabled the Dark Mode On your Google Chrome.

Hey Wait, There is a Problem Again.

What? A Problem Again. What is that?

We Successfully Changed the Chrome UI to Dark Mode.  But What about the web content. It will still remain normal.

Haha... I have another idea to solve this. Let's see what's that?

1. Go to chrome://flags again

2.  After it Loaded, Search for "Android web contents  dark mode"




3. Then Switch it to"Enable" from "Default"

4. It also prompts you to Restart the application.

5. Restart it, Then Open Your Favorite website.



Wowww...The Real Dark Mode Enabled.
